Have I got a TReat for you- here is a doughnut recipe that is not only delicious but won’t bust your waistline or spike your blood sugar. Obviously as you are on this page, its gluten free and dairy free but it also low carb, sugar free and paleo. I can’t wait for you to try it
- 30 g coconut flour
- 45 g ground flax seed
- 25 g cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp stevia extract powder
- 5 large eggs
- 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
Preheat the oven to 180 deg C
Mix the coconut flour, flaxseed, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt and stevia in a medium bowl.
Beat the eggs in another bowl and ten mix in the dry ingredients.
Add the coconut oil and mix until smooth
Pour into a doughnut pan and bake for 20 mins or until done.
Cool and enjoy.
